En conclusión, se reconoce el movimiento de los canarios hacia Latinoamérica y como tal, el aporte cultural agrícola, así como la inserción y participación asertiva en la sociedad y el reconocimiento de ser una colonia de productividad y ejemplo de interculturalidad.ABSTRACTThe objective of this article is to analyze the process of the Canarian diaspora towards Latin America and the Caribbean, from the sixteenth century to the nineteenth century, with the purpose of understanding the whole process and appreciating the advantages produced from migration, as well as assessing the ability of the human being to live in harmony with his neighbor, thus avoiding negative effects due to intercultural contact between the Canary Islands and Latin Americans and the Caribbean.
