En concordancia, se presenta el siguiente informe crítico sobre la enseñanza de la matemática a educandos con discapacidad visual. Específicamente este trabajo hace parte de un estudio macro, de carácter cualitativo, donde se aplicaron como técnicas la revisión y análisis de varios documentos, además de la observación participante de diversas actividades realizadas con grupos de estudiantes del programa de Educación Especial de la UPEL-Maracay, llegando a tratar la adaptación de materiales didácticos estructurados como los bloques lógicos, el geoplano y el ábaco Kramer, a través del uso del braille, el método Constanza, y otros aspectos de relieve; así como la adecuada manera de tratar los contenidos matemáticos que se potencializan a través de ellos como lo son las operaciones básicas, diferenciación de polígonos, conceptualización de número, entre otros, a modo de integrar a educandos con discapacidad visual.<br />Palabras clave: Educación Matemática, Educación Especial, personas con discapacidad visual, materiales didácticos, formación docente</p><p>DIDACTICS ASPECTS FOR THE TEACHING OF MATHEMATICS TO PEOPLE WITH VISUAL DISABILITIES<br />Abstract<br />The admission to the classroom of a person with a disability basically requires a teacher prepared to assume this challenge. Accordingly, the following critical report presents on the teaching of mathematics to students with visual disability. Specifically, this work is part of a macro study of a qualitative nature, where were applied as technical review and analysis of various documents, and participant observation given to activities with groups of students in the Special Education program UPEL-Maracay, dealing with the adaptation of structured didactic materials such as logical blocks, the geoplane and the Kramer abacus, through the use of Braille, the Constanz method, and other aspects of relief; as well as the appropriate way to deal with the mathematical contents a potentialized through them, as: basics operations, polygon differentiation, number conceptualization, among others, in order to integrate students with visual disability.<br />Key words: Mathematics Education, Special Education, persons with visual disabilities, didactic materials, teacher training</p&gt;}, number={2}, journal={PARADIGMA}, author={Martínez (UPEL-Maracay, Venezuela), Angélica María and González (UPEL-Maracay, Venezuela), Fredy Enrique}, year={2017}, month={dic.}, pages={385-404} }
